Selmo Technology has released a new version of Selmo Studio and Selmo HMI. The latest version includes numerous improvements in performance, user-friendliness, process analysis, and software architecture.
A key component of this release is the transition to .NET 8. This modern technology platform ensures higher performance, faster response times, more efficient resource utilization, long-term maintainability, and compliance with current security standards.
User guidance has also been further optimized. The redesigned view concept improves the overview in Selmo Studio, while simplified zone handling speeds up configurations and reduces potential input errors. In addition, the enhanced Selmo HMI offers optimized operating workflows and expanded error handling for faster diagnostics and troubleshooting.

With the new Data Record and Automatic Report features, Selmo is also expanding the capabilities for analyzing machine behavior. Relevant process data is automatically recorded and evaluated in clear, easy-to-read reports. This provides companies with in-depth insights into operating times, downtime, and cycle times.
The new Absolute Jump feature complements the Logic Layer by providing direct and targeted control over process flows and simplifies the implementation of complex logic structures.
With this latest release, Selmo Technology underscores its commitment to continuously developing Selmo Studio and providing companies with a powerful, future-proof platform for modern software engineering in the machine and plant engineering industries.
What is Selmo Studio?
Selmo Studio is an engineering platform for the model-based development and implementation of automation software. Instead of programming machine sequences exclusively in PLC code, the desired machine behavior is structured, modeled, and clearly defined directly within the platform.
This creates a standardized and documented machine logic that is easier to understand, reuse, and evolve throughout the entire machine lifecycle.
Selmo Studio combines no-code engineering with targeted low-code capabilities, enabling both simple and complex automation projects to be implemented efficiently, transparently, and independently of the underlying control platform.
