In May, Selmo was part of a 150-member Austrian economic delegation that traveled to Japan under the leadership of Minister of Economic Affairs Wolfgang Hattmannsdorfer and WKO Vice President Philipp Gady. The focus of the trip was the economic mission to EXPO 2025 Osaka, aimed at strengthening Austria's export economy, advancing innovation, and further positioning the country internationally as a competitive hub for research, technology, and entrepreneurial expertise.
What impressed us most was the strong interest shown by Japanese companies in Austria’s engineering expertise – especially in the areas of automation, digitalization, and sustainable production. This is exactly where Selmo's technology delivers value.

EXPO 2025 Osaka is held under the theme “Designing Future Society for Our Lives” and will welcome over 28 million visitors from around the world between April 13 and October 13, 2025. Austria is showcasing and innovative pavilion under the title “Composing the Future.”
Austria National Day at the EXPO: On May 23, 2025, the spotlight was on Austria. Highlights included an exclusive performance by the Vienna Boys' Choir and a special appearance of Mozart’s original Costa Violin.
We are especially proud that Selmo will be featured in the “Innovation Space” of the Austrian Pavilion, exhibited in the category “Semiconductors & Smart Factory.”
