Governor Mag. Christopher Drexler visits Selmo Technology

Governor Mag. Christopher Drexler visits Selmo Technology

On August 23rd, the Governor of Styria, Mag. Christopher Drexler, visited us at our headquarters in Söding. During a tour of our new offices, he gained a comprehensive understanding of our innovative approach, which is based on “Modeling instead of Programming.” Mag. Drexler was particularly impressed by the Fischertechnik model and a Bosch Rexroth machine that we modeled in record time.

During the visit, Drexler emphasized the importance of technological innovations for the economic future of Styria. In subsequent discussions, key topics and future prospects were explored, including the role of digitalization in industrial production and the associated challenges. Drexler underscored the importance of collaboration between business and politics to further strengthen Styria as an economic hub.

The intensive exchange and constructive conversations during the visit laid the foundation for future collaborations and joint projects, highlighting the significance of innovation in Styria.
