The new version of our Selmo Studio is now available: more powerful, more structured and more user-friendly than ever before.

"The new Selmo Studio is not just a toolbox - it is an intelligent construction kit: structured, modular and flexible enough to adapt to any future challenge."
-Thomas Schönegger, Head of Software Development

What is the Selmo Studio?

Selmo Studio is our platform for the model-based creation and implementation of automation projects. Instead of writing PLC code manually, our users model the process of their machine directly in the Studio - the error-free PLC code is then generated automatically.

Our aim is to provide machine logic that is standardized, reusable and comprehensible. To achieve this, we rely on a no-code environment that can be expanded with low-code elements if required. This allows both simple and complex automation solutions to be implemented efficiently.

What's new?

With the new release, we have made extensive technical and visual improvements to Selmo Studio: an optimized user interface, modern editors, better performance and a clear project structure make working more efficient and enjoyable than ever. With the new release, we are expanding Selmo Studio with numerous functions that offer particular advantages for larger projects and collaboration:

Multi-project structure (Solutions)
Several projects can now be bundled in a higher-level structure - ideal for complex applications. This allows users to maintain an overview at all times and projects can be managed efficiently.

Library projects (versioning possible)
Common functions can be bundled and versioned in a central library, making it easier to reuse code and trace changes at any time.

Function Editor
New functions can be easily created and modified in the editor.
Thanks to the Structured Text code editor and its organized layout, implementation is particularly fast.

Function Instance Editor
Functions can be used multiple times and configured individually. The associated connections can be adjusted flexibly in each instance.

Diagnostic options
The project can be analyzed in a targeted manner, and error sources can be identified more quickly.
These diagnostic tools help with runtime monitoring and debugging.

Project organization
Files and folders can be created and attached directly to the project. This speeds up access to important resources and simplifies organization.
